CdTe Thin Film Panel Degradation - a Time Bomb for FSLR?
One of the most serious uncertainties cited by analysts after the first quarter conference call is the degradation issue of FSLR's CdTe panel in hot climate.
Today First Solar announced a major restructuring plan, closing factories and laying off 2000 employees. It is expected that FSLR will incur a charge of $245-370 million.
CNOOC bid for CSIQ for $300 mln
China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) just announced that it intended to buy Canadian Solar (CSIQ) for $300 mln. But CSIQ is likely to reject the deal and wants a higher price.
