On the subject of the drop in TERP PPS:

Part of the drop is warranted. That is due to uncertainty, plus sharply diminished growth prospects as new deals from SunEdison dry up.

But it now looks overdone. TerraForm can muddle through and even survive as an independent company if SunEdison goes bust. And if some or all of the Vivint deal is blocked, then TerraForm looks like a bargain.

Can I add other highlights or will it be a copyright issue ?

I think the online article (at least the quote above) is word for word conclusion from the march 2 c12 wsj article "SunEdison Court Win is Eclipsed"

Only new info...analysis by advisor Centerview shows it (TERP) can't survive through 2017 without some combination of cash raising measures.  following a discussion of SUNE deal to foist VSLR assets onto TERP not putting terp in immediate peril, but making more asset purchases difficult, otherwise just a rehash of story to date. (my comments are about the WSJ print article)

Any news, reasons why TERP dropped off the cliff today?

What happened to Terp and Glbl?  I had an order to sell Terp at $11 and it was sold for $11.75.  I had an order to sell Glbl at $4.1 and it was sold for $4.25.  All PM.

If TERP's dividend was not delayed, I wonder what price would it trade at.

I guess as usual with this market all different pressures will come out. At this point Yieldco holders have time on their side now. This should be more comfortable to handle as it was before this morning.

That is the pressure, those who bought yesterday need to get their milk and bread today.

Well those who bought GLBL yesterday for dividend and are selling at current prices, are making about 10% including dividend. I suppose its enough for some. TERP on the other hand is up 10% without any dividend factored in. With everything considered, once regular trading brings volume, hopefully we'll revise highs of PM and maybe above (today).

    Odyd,

What is your dividend expectation now ? The target of $1.75 in my view is now a minimum.

    Thanks

How do you figure this saush?

The $1.75 announced in July was predicated on the Vivint deal happening. I bet TERP will pay $1.60 total in 2016, and likely start off with a raise to $1.50 for the current quarter (so $.375 quarterly payment).

    Lets hope so.

Im shocked at the lack of "BOOM" thus far.

TERP jumped 40 percent the day Tepper came out of the closet.

Now we have closure...and TERP inches up 7 percent?

    Say what??
