Wow I think Some knew for a Fact JA was to have a good ER report? And now I think they are expecting to make a double soar score.

SI drops off on JA 33% right before they report Earnings in a month 04/15 to 5/15/2013. 33% is Huge!

Stock still soars 70%! Reported SI 5/15/2013 stood at 2,209.020 coming down from 3,383,241 reported SI. Rapidly falling before earnings came out.

Now SI is at 2,490,000 Not surprising but is still way off from what was reported a month before er. It is about 6% of the outstanding shares of 38.66 M. The float on JA is not listed so I'm not sure what the float is? Maybe around 28 M. shares.

TSL imo is showing us Shorts are running out of excuses to be short.

Traders Buy Stocks with high SI especially the beaten down ones they can soar the most.

China will be announcing higher subsidies and we will all soar. *This could be any day now*.

Look at CSIQ and HSOL, these are huge particularly in HSOL
https://solarpvinvestor.com/database/shor…t-interest-2013

They are losing money trades for sure, but pressure is huge on CSIQ. I think HSOL was assumed to be an easy target. Very little fundamental substance behind those actions. Even TSL trade shows lack of the understanding. Interesting action Friday on TSL but I cannot find explanation for it.

Looks like the Ox-Head Group, or Oxen Group, or whatever they call themselves, are getting taken to the cleaners...

I just think the Shorts are realizing it's soon to be game over from playing this sector like they have before.

What a joke there was 1 unidentified analyst at HSOL Conference Call Q&A (unidentified).
Not even paying attention to fundamentals. Just when do you suppose this stupidity stops Odyd?

Perhaps shorts are waiting to get squashed *When China announces increased subsidies"

TSL moved and several others moved at 2:20 PM. Trina having a higher amount of SI I believe was a reason for it to move more & the short trade has'nt been working in TSL for a while.

@ July I have been holding TSL for a while, every now and again I book some profits and then when it goes down I try to buy more, but if anyone shorted TSL around mid $8.47 area has done well,Down here it would be crazy to short IMO,We will see $7 soon again,JASO also will be in $10 area soon,CSIQ close to $12,I think JKS could be the lottery ticket although I don't like the response to what I feel were good earnings,I was holding WFR which is now SUNE for a while ,I got in @ $2 and got out way to early a little below $6 and now it almost 40% higher, even though Chinese Solars are up alot on the year, they have a lot of catching up to do,and if EU situation works out and numbers Chinese companies have projected come thru, ODYD's site will be lit up,big time.Just be patient and if you hit your target sell a piece and get more when it corrects (it always does ) Good Luck

:)Toadiac, I know what you're saying. You are Right!

Interesting bit of News Here I just read
Just this week, June 11, 2013 the Chicago Board Options Exchange and an affiliate were penalized for various systemic breakdowns in their regulatory and compliance functions as a self-regulatory organization, including a failure to enforce or even fully comprehend rules to prevent abusive short selling.
The financial penalty is the first assessed against an exchange for violations related to its regulatory oversight. Previous financial penalties against exchanges involved misconduct on the business side of their operations. As it read they were attempting to cover for this affiliate and themselves.

To remedy this action the CBOE has hired additional personal to police these activities from recurring

1'st time ever! Going after an Exchange is the Right way to go about it.

JASO repaid their convertible notes due 5/15/2013 and shares loaned for shorting/hedging were returned.

So short interest up is good news, and short interest down is good news, right? :)

Personally I would rather see short interest decline in my holdings and it did by 8% in CSIQ.

JASO holds a special place in my heart... That move was epic I can't blame short for jumping on, but personally I think they will have to cover quickly

The data is as of 14th June. By now, it seems that short interest is much higher. Monday was a great day to buy back. Not sure if we will have such wonderful days ahead.
