They missed on GAAP EPS. Guided EPS loss in Q3 and large loss for full year both based on GAAP. Huge pipeline yes. Future is bright, but why stock is up? No GAAP profitability in the near future (many left CSIQ expecting hit due to "holdco" change, but no one expects GAAP losses for CSIQ, right?).

Not sure who announced ER first, but Trina also reports on 18th but at "usual" 8AM. I can not see them both announce at the same time, hence maybe that was the reason.

"And just like that..." (JKS' relative PPS "superiority") "it was gone".

Both CSIQ and especially JKS are still above its recent lows (by $1 and $2 respectively). Of course it can be "there" just like that.

Odyd, prior to this change, on my screen I always saw "latest" threads with post I have not read yet. They were also identified in bold. What needs to be done on my part to have same display in this new version? TIA

What does ITC has to do with manufacturers? Aren't the installers and consumers the ones benefiting from ITC and not the manufacturers? (Yes manufacturers have more sales, but incentives go directly to installers and consumers only.)

From Briefing: YGE just confirmed that its total AD/CVD rate from 2012 will fall from 29.18% to 21.73%. As per company, it "received the lowest combined rate (of 21.73%) among its peers" (I assume CN tier-1).

DQ trades in its own world. They could not even open the stock this AM. IMO totally manipulated stock.

I do not think that decision (keeping 2012 tariffs) played a significant (if any) role in CN3+1 price erosion this month.

JKS' GM margins for Malaysia plant (I assume meant for the US market) in Q3 & Q4 will be 25-30%. IMO that was the single most reason JKS outperformed CSIQ after Q1 ER (May 28th?). That of course changed with CN market implosion this month.
..."And last not but not least, we are streamlining our supply chain and we continue to believe, we can reduce our material purchase price. And in the second half of the year, we have started our productions in Malaysia factories. And we plan to produce and ship around 250 megawatts in the second half of the year to the U.S. market. The cost of the Malaysia factory is very competitive thanks to the strong infrastructure abundant human resource and advanced supply chain. So for that part, we estimate that gross margin is in a range of 25% to 30%."...

I think they're selling solars with oil...again. Especially with Iran "deal" pending.

JKS' is legit. They discussed it in Q1 ER as 25-30% GM business for Q3 and Q4. Also, separately there was a PR in late May that operations have commenced.
