SPVInvestor Forum - is divided into two focus groups: "Solar Investors" and "CEDR Club"

"Solar Investors" group is a forum covering various solar topics and investment in solar companies.  To join regular forum please click on "create account"

Regular forum Access is $3.99 per month

"CEDR Club" group uses proprietary China Export Data Report to evaluate operational conditions and merits of the investment thesis in Chinese companies, listed on US markets. More on the report's content is available at SPVinvestor Research. CEDR Club Subscription is $198 for three months. CEDR Club is a natural progression from general focus group and would be suggested for solar portfolios over $50K focused on exposure to Chinese solar companies

Examples of the report are available here, there is an Excel monthly summary also available.

I am curious who will be getting those options. The amount is fairly large, maybe some new VPS and Directors joining the team.

Hopefully people that have been adding value to the team ... soon to be multimillionaires ... I could only hope.

Or people being added to the team from say acquisition. Being taken over by public company offers excellent benefits to executives. Some will go, some will stay, but those given options will continue their efforts with increased incentives.

This is actually a reasonable theory. If market fears a larger general correction during 2015, then in 2014 they might "pre-emptively" punish stocks that gained more than 1000% in 2013 like JKS and CSIQ (which would explain the lesser punish of e.g. JASO), since such stocks are usually punished during large general corrections.

I think the fear of a general correction/crash is exaggerated though. Yes, the stock market has done well this decade and would normally be due for a correction, but we had two 1929 crashes in the previous (lost) decade and there's still plenty of room until we've made up for that. It's impossible to predict timing of crashes. You can tell they're due, but be 5 years ahead of your time. Also note that when the general market did very well beginning of this decade the PV stocks experienced an epic crash, so it was a bit of a separate world from general market at that time.

I read article after article telling me we are "overdue" for a 20% correction in the general market. Macro news in the U.S. Is generally quite good so it just feels like this correction is being forced just because. There's nothing going on right now that tells me this market is over-inflated. There are the usual suspects yammering that Fed manipulation will lead to doom but this seems to be based on an ideology that is always wrong and an unwillingness to acknowledge any error in reasoning. Market has been down 2 months in a row now. At some point the Bears are going to overplay their hand and get caught out in an epic short squeeze. It feels like they are just reeling out a little more rope....

What if it is not related to anything but purely for compensation. 3-4% dilution.

Those are compensation related and add 3-4% to the total outstanding share that is the fact.
What you imply about Recurrent acquisition is not.

What is implied can be possible. You post fact- deprived, opinionated bias daily and you question positive possibilities for not being factual? I do not see how your guessing is any more validated than positive implication guessing? Forum allowing fact deprived posts drenched in negativity should not be ethically accountable to you for allowing posts with positive outcome based on conditional coincidence. Agreed?
