OhMyGod :).

Seriously, if that was not a manipulation, I do not know what one is. They did not publish your (positive) article, instead published that crap. Then after two days of up/down PPS action - they removed it? SA is loosing its value (no wonder Hobo is not utilizing them anymore, BTW does anyone know what happened to him? does he publish anywhere else?).

I am so excited about the outcome of Q1 results I will make one more attempt to publish article there.

Since I cannot post numbers, I will have to give just a bit out, and show % to ilustrate explosive nature of the quarter.

This confidential approach could stop me from being published as well. At least for now I feel I have an energy to work this out.

I hope I feel the same tomorrow :)

relax guys. Manipulation takes place every single day. Last days it is bigger due to a well-known fact that SI in a number of solar stocks (SOL, TSL in particular) is too high to let it go up. Shorts are almost always the WS affiliated funds while longs are all others. That is why we do not see too often short squeezes. As for article in SA I did not read it but if you said it is BS I did not miss too much. What is strange for me ODYD is unable to post article in SA - normally it is not problem for everybody. I'm also surprised that they remove articles.

I pointed out that the writer did not mention that half of 1700MW of shipment in 2013 for CSIQ is towards solar farms with 20-25% GM. That guy was totally clueless. :)

@ILOVEPV,
I have 16 articles published on SA. My last subject was published on PV-Magazine but SA could not be bothered.
I am not as good of a writer as Hobo was but I get a lot facts in my articles.
I am writing an article about Q1 right now and I will have explo to probably read it before it goes out. There are many guys who buy the data. I do not want show things people pay money for just because it is good. That good seems to choke SA editors and they skip my stuff

Boss, i missed reading that article, but it sounds like it would have been a waste of time.

Anyway, csiq is getting half of revenue from total solutions segment (includes sizable kits sales to Japan). They'll still ship a large majority for their module segment.

Ody at these levels would you recommend moving some of my 100% SOL position to CSIQ and TSL? I worry I already missed on the big bumps..

I think you will be fine. Don't chase around the leaders on the upswing. I have CSIQ, TSL and SOL and think SOL actually is lagging at the moment. All of the above are fine especially if you are long term. Enjoy the short beating... I always like to see that.

Case in point... I sold JKS last time around $10.25 and bought CSIQ at 5... then they all went down and it didn't appear to be that great of a move but it looks good now! So rather than chase the hot JKS then, I rebalanced it into to more CSIQ and SOL and more TSL during the last rally.

There is nothing wrong with buying on the upswing. The question is when and where in the upswing and how far the swing may go. I see CSIQ and their business model as a parallel to Sunpower over time. When the project revenues start rolling in consistently in the next few quarters and the profits of the projects start to get applied, I could see CSIQ as being valued on par with Sunpower with similar movements. So if you are looking to add some on the upswing and you view that as a $4-$6 move over the next 6 to 12 months, why not buy a litte, the fall at this level should not be the dramatic 60-80% losses of the past.

As soon people see that CSIQ can makes $1.7 or higher EPS in 2013,you can see $12 share price easy.

Ok that's like amazing, and your timing is like godlike. 10.25, I think 52-week high is 10.07, so you mean 10.07, right?

Maybe it was $9.25... I thought it was over $10, I guess I was wrong. I was posting at the time about whether to sell my JKS. The story remains the same however and I am not one to claim selling anything at the high, not that type of person... those who know me from yahoo, know I pretty much hold and when I try to get smart, I usually get burned.

I know that even today the idea that a select few of these can make huge moves is looked at with disdain... I do think there will be a time in the future when solar PV is as hot as the net in the 90's. People have no idea as yet about the revolution that is coming. I know a few big time wall street folks and they are still thinking in terms of 2008 as far as viability is concerned. We will enter a time when the lightbulb turns on and investors can't wait to get in. I hope our picks are making a profit when that happens. Sentiment will turn and greed will be firmly on our side for a change. Again, hopefully our picks are thriving survivors when the sentiment turns.

CSIQ by going headlong into project development has made their case for being there much stronger.

A lot of pressure on shorts in Trina, they are very aggressive to push it down. Anyone watching this?
