The article is so very true. It is not in utilities' best interest for rooftop solar to become successful. In my area it appears that Utilities are already already positioning themselves for this scenario by hiking their base fee. What used to be like $5 base fee for usage less than 500kwh a few years ago is now about $12 - $15 for usage < $1000kwh. I think they will keep increasing this fee in coming years...
