  1. Any thoughts on upcoming earnings? Seems they restored sales volume but had a slight decrease in revenue indicated. 1 site has -0.07 eps. Worried that shorts will pile on though frankly, they will probably dog pile on anyway even if the results were good.
  2. Maybe the overcapacity problem won't be as large as everyone anticipates. http://www.pv-tech.org/news/solar-cell-and-module-capacity-expansions-absent-in-china-in-3q-2016
  3. Brookfield was not bidding on TERP primarily because of auction rules - but it won't give up what it holds now. Not sure if anyone has announced bidding on GLBL.
  4. Cleantechnica indicates the assets SUNE owed GLBL were sold. I am annoyed, but apparently market likes it - thinks we may get cash back. Think they are optimistic, but hoping for the 6+ buyout.
  5. Any thoughts on why JASO never enjoyed the post 2012-13 run up that other solars did?
  6. Thought this might be a good buy at $ 6, but not so sure now. BS doesn't look as strong as I first thought. Total current liabilities is 1.5 B$ (long term less than 0.5 B$). Inventory doubled from last quarter. AR slightly increased but accounts payable jumped by 50 %. Maybe this is normal for them, but now I wish I had jumped at $ 6. Anyone have a thought on what type of price this is fairly valued at, considering the down trend in the market?
  7. CSIQ is planing to have manufacturing cost by 2017 4Q of 0.29/wt. Not sure why the big freakout about reduced module cost - this is a good thing. We need more solar and these are the prices that will leave coal in the ground. I think the comments from JASO are spot on - there will be a significant surplus, but not the one Bloomberg was forecasting. Enjoyed the article, but disapoointed to learn you have given up on CSIQ for now.
  8. Picked up JASO for a swing. Would be really appreciated if the CEO came in and confirmed the buyout (lol). Holding CSIQ for long term. CSIQ seldom trades for long below p/e of 5, but maybe this will be the exception this year. I think the capacity addition is being exaggerated based on announcements, not on shovels in the ground. You think SUNE is going ahead with a new module plant in India?
