I'm asking because it is a bit of a pain to estimate their accounting of warrants. But then again challenges can be fun.

With their special formula (which is not net profit divided by shares), i.e. stated GAAP EPS?
I'm asking because it is a bit of a pain to estimate their accounting of warrants. But then again challenges can be fun.
The basic EPS is still a simple division, it's just that you need to add all the potential shares from warrants dilution.
For Q4:
Net Income(k$): 23,519
Real ADR count: 58,949,957
Basic EPS: 0.40 (= 23,519,000/58,949,957)
As for the warrants, I estimated that was a loss of $10.3 M, equivalent to -$0.17 per ADR.
For Q1, I believe JASO will use the above ADR count for basic EPS calculation but they will add some additional shares for other minor items such as share based compensation which occurred in Q1.
So if you are looking at GAAP basis, the loss from warrants is going to be a bummer. Tax is a wild card which I had not really tried to estimate. Maybe another benefit? But maybe wise to leave it at 0.

$0.27 GAAP (including $10.3 M warrants loss)
$0.44 Non-GAAP (excluding the loss from warrants).
I left tax at 0 but we might get another positive surprise with a tax credit.
