I recently published an article on Solarcity on seekingalpha...I tried to do a bottom-up analysis on this and could not find a way to justify the high valuation....

Overall I am long for Chinese stocks, but see most of the US solar stocks overpriced...will like to know your opinon on this one!

Iirc pretty much all US alt energy stocks of note trade at a far higher PE than company's in other country's.

I think thats more a reflection of how mediatized and popular investing in such stocks is in the USA, For these stocks to have such a higher PE obviously it needs more people willing to buy at these higher prices,
