SOL stealth buying continues - 80K buy block with 10min to close drove it up 9% 1.60-1.74

240K shares total today in 80k share blocks. I pointed out the stealth buying on Monday and it continued today. Maybe there is some truth on Q1 SOL profitability after all? Or a hedge fund is betting that there is some truth to it.

Truth or not, SOL price does not reflect it et all. SOL is underperforming her peers on a big scale. Take a look at recent recovery. CSIQ exceeded previous top, TSL, YGE and JKS made a nice run (JKS more than 100% from the bottom). SOL actually made only 30% while her bottom was deeper. I do not know what entity is behind SOL down trading but I DO KNOW they made a wrong bet and now are trying to correct it with no loss for them. SOL should not disclose anything before May 16 but if I were in their shoes and if they have something good in their sleeve I would have made a couple of PRs to heat shorts out of stock as fast as possible.

12 month chart shows that other than CSIQ and JKS (which I sold Monday on my blow off top call), SOL has outperformed all other Chinese solars. You can pick and chose different and very short time periods, but the God of all charts that shows fundamental strength or weakness, is the 52 week chart. Of course it all looks like junk to me as I own FSLR and SPWR which both have outperformed all Chinese solars.
