Discounts for Members

I just confirmed, 20% one time purchase of the three month pack is ok for a member of the forum. Members of the forum can receive 10% for each month they will purchase moving forward.

There will be no other discounts or giveaways. Data will be sold every month and quarterly. There could be some sort of analysis made when quarterly reporting is done and send to those who have 3 months or a pack purchased for additional $20 or something like that, if that makes sense. Those who are interested receiving discounts we have a forum for the buyers, others send me pm please

Odyd, can you offer any more clarification about "there could be some sort of analysys made when....etc"? Meaning that you are planning on offering summary info with the Reports also? Very good idea, if that is the case.

Yes, I am thinking about forecast model based on combination of deliveries (Solarzoom data) actual shipments, and levels of inventory. Combining those would be probably a very effective way in predicting the ability to meet guidance. This summary will be only available to those who bought data, since we will never release data free to public. I would say the combo would be around $100.00 ($75 data plus $25 analysis) $85 one time deal with Q4 pack discount. and for buyers of the pack or three months of the quarter $25. I work as a forecasting and planning manager in my day job it should be interesting.

Odyd, I assume the free September 2012 export data PDF is the format that the other month files would look like.

I also assume the quarterly data is just 3 pages of the monthly data. If my assumptions are not correct please let me know.

If that is the case, and since only those months data is shown, IMO, it will be beneficial to have columns of YoY and MoM %change (in other words if you are getting Dec data, it would be good to show if there is an increase % from the previous month and the same month last year).

Since I don't know if you are send the data by solarzoom already formatted or if you are allowed to massage it yourself, I don't know how doable that is, so I thought I'd ask.

Larry, other monts are like the September data, but much bigger in terms of companies and markets covered. I like the raw format. Then you can derive analysis from that (like MoM changes etc.) in other sheets.

Yes but only if you have the previous month data. If for example you bought let's say Jan'2013 data as a first month data, you will not have enough data points to make heads or tails of the data (meaning are they up for previous month? are they up from same month last year?). That would only happen if you got the quarterly report and even then the first month of the quarter will again have no compares with previous month or YoY, right?

What I'm really asking then is to make available the previous month or previous quarter with just the YoY % change added on, at a discount when you buy the latest month or quarter.

Data is released monthly. No reference to YoY, because we do not have it for the last year. Now, we would not do ourselves a favor if we sold data for January showing December performance in a form MoM %, would we?
It would take 10 minutes to figure this out, making December purchase irrelevant. The one time discount is 20% for the Q3, monthly discount starting with January will be 10%. Solarzoom is not affected as I took my commission down by as much, to benefit members here. It is obvious that I am not going to make money on this. If I can get people to buy those and help at least the upkeep and pay for the server, it works for me. Get some people aware in the process further than today is also an objective, I hoped for.
