More chatter about poly dropping in the short term:

"Polysilicon price has remained stable this week. However, owing to weak end demand, some downstream si-wafer and PV cell capacities have been shut down. Some polysilicon manufacturers may lower their prices in the end of January, and there will be large-scale price reduction for the orders in February."

I am curious if, besides DACA, democrats are also pushing for PV tariff total rejection, to avoid government shutdown...? Timing is just perfect...

I REALLY doubt that.  That issue is just too small to get caught up in the shutdown mess.

Thanks Tupapa , in that area most of the time and think PL is one of the good options in this space although there are several competing, I think the team is very experienced and trial has gone well.  Have you bought POWR as yet? Which exchange did you use/ think is best for this?

Really good how you have added etf section.  Why just BOTZ?  vs ROBO or ROBO + BOTZ??

I like BOTZ concentration, really focus on Japan. I am looking at the renewable ETFs and will have perhaps a review of those in while. It will be in a section for ETFs

"The U.S. Trade Representative’s office responded to a pv magazine email and indicated there were no countries exempted from the solar tariff decision, although it wasn’t clear if Singapore was included."

"In a statement, the administration said it would now look to open negotiations on existing anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on Chinese solar products and the reciprocal duties placed on US polysilicon by Beijing."

this is why I like to own ICLN rather than direct stocks.  I am going to try to buy more ICLN with SBRA dividends.

I found the fact sheet for the 201 decision.  I'm not 100% certain because of the wording, but it sounds to me like imports from Canada will be taxed as well.  Can you guys confirm?

Do we have the first ASP estimates for the years to come?  Need that for my FSLR model.
