explo, I agree and that's what I meant by my first statement. But there are different type of digressions...I think you know what I mean. It can sometimes be a judgement call, but most times it's pretty clear which side of the line one's on...

And an excellent idea on the separate poly/tariff threads...they are indeed hot topics...

I think you are on the right track... the poly and tariff discussions need their place.

I am on a few audio boards and they use a "thinking out loud" type of category where digressive posts go. They continue there after being banished from wherever they were first posted. It cleans things up but imagine that would be a full time job with all of us digressors!

There are some of us who also enjoy the day to day commentary of stock price... everything from level II to manipulation theories, to short attacks etc. Could there be a place for that or an ongoing thread? Or am I the only one interested in the daily grind? I don't even trade but love to watch level II.

That's a very good idea also. After one of my topic posts, a couple of replies later there's someone posting his fantasy day-trade. How on earth does that add any value to the topic at hand? For those that want to post their fantasy trades back an forth, or discuss market manipulations...etc, a separate thread for that would be good because it certainly shouldn't be part of the normal discussion of things...

Odyd, I wonder if it would make sense to move a few threads to the new strategy category? These are not really "news" of any kind...

I want to say thank you as well... You have really created something amazing here. I have to manage a few sites for our business and it is not easy work. I imagine a true blog on top of the site is a lot of work. Thanks again, this site is really appreciated as are your talents.
