SOL will be dancing in the $2-$2.20 range for some time. Building a nice base. I do not think SOL will move before next CC in March. IMO

Boss

probably you are wrong. As far as I understand trading SOL will be moved up prior to CC, likely to 2.70-2.80 range. Moreover I can not exclude that this move will be done extremely fast - may be within 1 trading day and separatly from the other pack of 11 big solars. Do not forget that SOL participated in recent rally in less %% gain than her peers while guided better.

We will see. I follow and trade SOL since 2008.
But i have no problem if it moves up fast. :)

Hey Boss, over $2.20 now... don't be surprised if you see $2.50 in short order...

Hey Larryvand

I have no complain if SOL goes higher. Let see if it close above $2.20 today.

SOL is one of the better managed companies that could lead the pack in terms of returning to profitability. This realization might be recognized in the Q4 con call with the recent slight uptick in ASP for wafers. If SOL starts to move it will be because of fundamentals and it is relatively undervalued compared to peers and did not move as much as peers.

I mentioned 1-2 weeks ago that SOL will be 1 of the first Chinese Solars to report break even or tiny profit in Q2 2013. Can not wait to hear CC in March. :)

$2, $5, $8, $11
Those targets are important pivot points.

upside pressure on SOL

shares are mounting pretty fast. Amount of buys at ask is much bigger today than 2-10 days ago. Volume is still low that makes it easier (for those who accumulate SOL shares) to hold the price down. A fast 25-50% price appreciation can happen at any given time.
